Terms & Conditions

Do please take the time to read this…

Bridaltique is registered in England and Wales under company registration number 7651936050, with registered offices at 27 high Street, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. SA612BW

These terms and conditions were last updated in March 2026.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time, so do please check back in regularly.

To stay in touch with our customers we will use the contact details provided.

Our business/service.

Our primary business is to provide bridal garments to sell or hire to our customers, as detailed in our terms and conditions below, and as priced on our Bridaltique website, and in store. We also sell bridal accessories, prom dresses and Occasionwear..

The contract.

By confirming an order through our website, by email, or in person you agree to the terms and

conditions outlined here in full. Please do call out any challenges when reading.

In turn, please take our email as acceptance of the order, at that point a

contract will come into existence between you and us.

Payments

Payment for both hire and sale of dresses is required at the point of order confirmation, exact % agreed separately, but would normally be 50% of the purchase or hire cost. Any balance, including alteration cost, is normally required 6 weeks pre the wedding day/before the garment is released to the customer.

‘Sumup’ is our chosen payment platform, but we also accept bank transfers. We accepts most major credit and debit cards.

Card suppliers will store, but never distribute, your card details for future payments referenced only to the order placed.

We will only use your personal information in our records at Bridaltique, and will not share or sell this information.

Damage.

Where the hired garment has evident and notable damage or housekeeping challenges beyond reasonable boundaries i.e. cannot be cleaned fully, or repaired fully, we will assess and charge any remediation cost, sharing pictorials of same.

In the extremely unlikely situation where a garment returned has such extensive damage that it is no longer commercially viable, we will have to charge the full retail sale value of that product.

To note here we will take (and share) pictures of the rented product at the time of dispatch to our customers.

The product.

Products can occasionally vary slightly from the web site pictures. Although all the images on our website were taken by us, and in all cases are the exact garment for rent, they are for illustrative purposes only. There can be a slight deviation in colour to the actual garment.

Our products are like us…new!, however as time goes some hire garments will become ‘pre-loved’ – these are identified separately, and could carry some slight signs of wear. This does not distract from the visual appearance or performance of the garment. It is on this basis that you are renting our garments.

The standard hire period is 10 days.

Day 1 being the day the product is received by you, and Day 10 being the delivery day back to our store.

It’s important to contact us in advance if an extension to this ‘rental window’ is required.

If we don’t receive the garment back in the agree rental period, then a late return surcharge of £25/day applies until the goods are received.

If we do not hear from you for 7 days post the end of the hire, then we have to assume the goods will not be returned and will be obliged to charge the full retail sales value of the product.

Cancellation of the order (hire only)

We understand things can change, and so if you want to cancel the order then please ensure you do so at least 30 days before the rental begins, or before the fitting alteration process has started, this gives us a chance to re-advertise the product. A handling fee of £75 will apply in this case.

If you cancel within 30 days of the first date of hire, or any alterations have taken place, then we regret we cannot offer a refund.

Order amendment

We also understand you may change your mind on the style of dress, we will endeavour to ensure you are totally happy before you progress to confirm an order of course, but should you still wish to change we will do our very best to find that dress!

Should something go wrong our end (a garment deemed not fit to rent by us for example), we will contact you to discuss options asap.

Alterations

Alteration costs will be agreed and charge separately in relation to each individual dress. We can only amend hire dresses with reversible alterations.
